The indigenous species Pinus pinaster subsp. atlantica has been planted, suitable for the environment of the area, not very demanding, and capable of living very well in areas of high slopes. The tree density is 1,333 ft/ha, thus avoiding the need for intensive silviculture in the future. This forest is part of the action that is being developed in this area on 600 hectares, within the framework of the Green Engine project.
